ABISreflect is a compact, optical inspection system for the quality control of shiny and reflective surfaces. Defects and features such as pits, waviness, small dents and bumps, etc. on reflective car body parts are detected unambiguously and precisely using deflectometry measurement technology.

Like all other surface inspection sensors in the ABIS product family, ABISreflect uses single image technology. Due to the extremely short exposure time, only a short acquisition time per measurement position is needed, so the robot-driven ABISreflect sensor can be continuously moved along an object (e.g., a painted car body). Environmental factors such as vibrations or ambient light have therefore no influence. The folded beam paths and the compact, encapsuled construction, guarantee a short measurement standoff (excellent optical accessibility) which enables application in industrial conditions (production line).

ABISreflect covers the requirements of the entire surface inspection throughout the complete process chain, from individual part, assemblies, car bodies, up to finished/painted and reflective shell parts.

The proven, industry-compatible ABIS software structure is also used for ABISreflect. Supporting the ABIS multi sensor concept, a friendly user interface, a reliable defect evaluation and a comfortable report generation is guaranteed.
